I
like many type of movie, locally or movie from another country like Hollywood
movie, Horror Thailand, Korea dramas, and Bollywood. About a genre, I like
actions movie, animation, horror, and thriller. One of the movie I like the
most is In Time (2011), I think the movie is interesting to watched and retold.
This movie teaches us how precious time, and also describes the term "Time
is Money"So I want to retell summary of that movie. In Time (2011) A movie
which the main character played by justin Timberlake as Will Salas, Amanda
Seyfried as Sylvia Weis, and Olivia Wilde as Rachel Salas, mother of Will
Salas. The Characteristic I like the most in this movie is Justin Timberlake,
The first, he is handsome, Character in this movie is awesome, he destroy time
system to provide justice about time that owned by the rich people not to
greedy and they should share with the poor people.
This
movie tells the story of a life that governed by time, life and death is
regulated by the time of every person. Time here is measured to be the value of
currency that can be traded even stolen. Every person has the time which can be
seen in their hands. Everyone will stop aging until the age of 25 years, and
can live up to the rest of one year only. For it is for rich people who have a
lot of time they can live forever, while the poor can die at any time due to
running out of time.
Will
Salas lived with his mother, they are poor families who have to fight for additional
time. One day, Will has a conversation with a morose man named Henry Hamilton who
explains he is 100 years old and has much time left to live. He's tired of
living. They talked until both fall asleep. Will awakeness with an extra
century on his clock and looks out the window to see Henry preparing to jump
from a bridge. He runs out to stop him, is too late and is caught by a security
camera, making him a suspect in the man's death. Because of it and he has a lot
of time in his hands, he was chased by time keeper.
One
night after Will's mother works and wants to go home, When she boards the bus
to get back home, she learns the fare has been raised to two hours. Since it's
a 2-hour walk home, she is forced to run. When Will sees that Rachel is not on
the scheduled bus, he deduces what has happened and begins to run to her. He
attempts to save her, but a second before they can touch, she times out and
dies in his arms. Will was very sorry when he has the extra time while his
mother running out of time and died. Then Will Salas go to the city of New
Geenich to destroy time systems. In this city Will salas meets Sylvia Weis. He
gamble with his century time as capital with Sylvia's Father and he won. Will
Salas who win the gambling then introduced with Sylvia and invited to come in
party.
Raymond
Leon who is
a timekeeper chase Will Salas to New Greenich
and arrested Will
at a party attended
by Will. Raymond confiscate
all the time Will
and leaving only two hours, Will does not
want to fail the mission Will escapes and takes Sylvia hostage. Sylvia has
fallen in love with Will so she help the Will’s mission. They
both work together to continue the mission to destroy time system. They
both broke into a family-owned
bank with the help
of Sylvia. Will and Sylvia also took
source fortune of Sylvia’s family. Result
of robberies are given to people who
have limited time. Raymond continue to pursue Will and Sylvia,
eventually died because
run out of time when he will
catch both of them. Will and Sylvia continue
robbing banks as part of their efforts to crash the system, while the rich
attempt to cope with the sudden surge of people infiltrating their zone. Lower
class workers, now rich with time, cross time zones, signifying the end of
inequality. The last scene shows Will and Sylvia preparing to rob a huge time
bank to further disrupt the system.
